I’m Faiza Myra, the founder and creative behind Princess & the Cake. My journey began in 2017 in my family kitchen, where I claimed the oven for myself after my older sisters moved out. I’d spend hours baking almost daily, inspired by episodes of Bake with Anna Olson and Ina Garten. From breakfast treats to sweet surprises for friends, neighbours, and church family; my cakes started spreading joy before I ever called it a business. Encouraged by friends, my mum’s loyal support, and the warmth of my community, I slowly turned this passion into something bigger. I refined my craft during countless church bake sales and found my love for unique designs and exquisite flavours.In August 2020, during the quiet of the pandemic, Princess & the Cake was born. I invested in the tools, the colours, the artistry — and poured my love for fine cakes into every detail. Since then, I’ve grown this little dream into a luxury cake brand known for modern, contemporary designs, striking colours, fairytale aesthetics, and flavours that delight every guest.
Rooted in faith
God has guided every step — opening doors to mentors, new skills, and opportunities to grow. My faith shapes how I work: with integrity, kindness, and joy. To me, a cake isn’t just cake — it’s a reflection of the love and light I hope my business brings to the world.

From day one, my mum has been my biggest cheerleader. Now, she works alongside me with the wisdom, work ethic, and grace only she carries. Together with a small but mighty team, we blend our personalities and skills to craft cakes that make every celebration feel magical.
When I’m not baking or sketching new designs, you’ll find me curled up with a Hallmark movie – a hopeless romantic at heart. Maybe that’s why weddings hold a special place for me: they remind me how beautiful love can be when celebrated well. My promise is that your cake will always be more than just dessert- it will be part of the magic.
